CiSoft (Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies) Forum 2008

Presented a poster titled "Visualize Bypassed Oil: Using Hybrid Simulation and Data Mining Approach" by Jegan Lingam, Ke-Thia Yao, Ramya Venkateswaran, Nelia Jafroodi.

The Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies is a joint University of Southern California and Chevron Center of Excellence for Research and Academic Training. Established in December 2003, CiSoft includes participation of research scientists from the Viterbi School of Engineering and Chevron.

Text to Voiceover IP: Mass Messaging Framework by Jegan Lingam and Arvind Venkataraman (Graduate, USC Viterbi School of Engineering)

A framework developed to integrate voiceover IP and email. This framework provides the functionality to convert email or any text into speech and contact the list of recipients on their phones without any manual intervention. Aiding in creating more efficient communications, this framework can be used to let masses know of last minute changes in scheduling.
